Hue, the leading community and culture platform helping companies to recruit, retain, and build their reputation with leaders of color, announced the kickoff of its new leadership accelerator Hue Next today.
Building on the continued growth of its community among senior executive and mid-level Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), Hue’s accelerator is designed to provide improved access to career development and continued growth, ultimately supporting a stronger network among leaders and a clearer trajectory toward economic opportunity. Essential components of the program include empowering participants to build meaningful, lasting relationships with senior leaders, cultivating a deep sense of community amongst their peers, and paving a pathway toward access for themselves and those who follow.
“We were fortunate to receive hundreds of applications from incredible leaders across geographies. It wasn’t easy to narrow down and select the 45 leaders joining us this year,” said Sadia Fahimul, Community Lead at Hue. “I’m excited to be with our leaders on this journey over the next few months.”
This year’s participants have been carefully selected and meticulously matched with a senior leader to develop a one-to-one relationship. This is in addition to joining a cohort of peers with experience levels that match their own, who they can connect with throughout the course of the program, to further build community and connection, to strengthen their networks and access to future opportunities.
“I’m thrilled to welcome such an accomplished group of leaders looking to take their careers to the next level. With the support of a committed group of senior executives and experts across functions, we’ve come together to support this work,” said Fahad Khawaja, Founder and CEO at Hue.
Throughout the course of the three-month program, participants will gain insights from senior and executive leadership and receive guidance to navigate their career journey. Leaders will be able to enhance and develop their existing strengths and actively expand their professional community to build new relationships as a pathway toward achieving their professional goals.
According to Khawaja, “A commitment to real progress means more than just words. It’s about action, and those with us on this journey are taking action for all of us, not just the few.”
